Meet Mr. Grant Papineau
My name is Grant Papineau, and I am the current Middle School Social Studies Teacher here at West Iron County Public Schools. I graduated in the Spring of 2023 from Central Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in Social Studies Secondary Education and a history minor, and am currently in my first year of teaching. I am from Central Lake Michigan which is a small town located an hour north of Traverse City in the lower peninsula. I got into teaching because I believe that history and geography is one of the most important subjects to learn as we become citizens of the world, and I hope to share and pass on that belief to my students.
