Meet Mrs. Jen Schive

Mrs. Schive is a lifelong resident of Iron River, Michigan and is the daughter of Leonard ( Nardi) and Pam Bociek. Mrs. Schive graduated from West Iron County in 1993, and she attended Northern Michigan University earning a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education/Special Education. She began her role at West Iron County as a substitute teacher and instructional specialist.

Mrs. Schive is currently in her 12th year of teaching middle school special education. She is the junior class advisor, a member of the moral committee, and an active member of the West Iron County Athletic Booster Club. Mrs. Schive is an avid Wykon fan and has grown up watching and playing Wykon sports.

Mrs. Schive is married to Dan Schive. They have two kind and caring daughters, Kristi and Allie. Mrs. Schive has been fortunate enough to have grown up and live near her immediate family, and she enjoys spending time with them at her family camp. She especially enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren. Mrs. Schive is currently a middle school special education teacher and cannot imagine doing anything else, as she truly enjoys helping her students develop to their truest potential.
