Meet Mrs. Tammie Carr
Mrs. Carr was born and raised in Hillsdale, MI. After graduation she attended Eastern Michigan University and earned a Bachelor Degree in Music Education.She earned her Masters in Education from Northern Michigan University. Mrs. Carr was hired in 1994 to continue teaching strings at West Iron County.
When Mrs. Carr is not at school, you will find her playing her violin in various groups. She has played with the Keweenaw Symphony for 15 years. Mrs. Carr is finishing her 27th year with Marquette Symphony Orchestra.
Outside musical activities she enjoys traveling, kayaking, hiking, gardening, geocaching and bird watching. Mrs. Carr enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
