Orange Friday
The West Iron County Schools and other member districts of the Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District are inviting you to help us honor the memories of Tara and Gerald Weaver of Escanaba by wearing orange on Friday, February 3rd. We would like to encourage all students, staff, and the community to wear orange in memory of their contributions to education.
Tara was a staff member at the Delta-Schoolcraft ISD where she was the Great Start Director. Through this position she was able to make a great impact on students who were just starting their school careers. If you would like to make a donation to an established memorial for Tara and Gerald Weaver, please visit one of our schools' offices on Friday, February 3rd.
Then on Tuesday, February 7th, our middle school volleyball team hosts Escanaba, starting at 5:15 pm. Again, we would like to encourage everyone to wear orange, and admission sales from the game will be donated to the Weaver’s established memorial.
